Daily Squiggle
I just went with colored pencils on this squiggle. I wanted to see the different shades of orange that I have. I did lay a base of yellow and red first and then used the oranges for shading.
I really like birds. And I love this creamsicle dragonbird.

I used colored pencil, markers and photoshop on this one. I worked so hard on the green wing that the paper refused to take any more color. It is great that photoshop can fix these things. This started as a scribble by my mother.

I used a combination of colored pencil and marker on this squiggle. It is another experiment with a scribble from someone else. This is one of Cheri’s. It is much more difficult to find a shape when starting from something so different from your own.

This is a squiggle drawn from another person’s scribble. Part of the experiment to see what would happen to a drawing that I had not started. It’s funny but the drawing resembles the person who drew the scribble.
I used marker and colored pencil. The pencil is doing the bulk of the shading.

This drawing is the combination of markers and colored pencils. The yellow stands out more if both colored pencil and marker are used. The jester is a complimentary pair of violet and yellow.
Pratfalls make the best jester comedy and this jester is swinging over the top of the page. Just like we did when we were children trying to make our swings go over the top bar. Probably with the same results.
