I like to watch ice skaters. This squiggle is doing a quadruple, triple, triple, toe loop, Axel, Lutz and doing it backwards.
I used only markers on this one and managed to get in a little shading.

I used markers to color this squiggle. The blue of her blouse and the orange stripes of her skirt are complementary and the green tights and red stripes of the skirt are complementary. It’s an interesting combination but I would not wear green tights even if I received many compliments.
I wanted her to be looking at the world. Too many people exercise in their own little bubbles of heart rate and ear buds. If you are lucky enough to be in the fresh air, use all your senses to be in it. You are not a tourist in nature, you are nature.

This squiggle has a marker color base with colored pencil shading. The F on his helmet stands for “football”, but I can’t help thinking it may stand for “frustration.” All the Colts fans will understand.

A fish of many colors. The blue and yellow combine for the top green fin and the red and blue combine for violet bottom fin.
I used only markers and just the pink, blue and yellow.

Oh-oh…first an elf and now a reindeer. The Christmas season is attacking me even before Halloween.
This squiggle is done entirely in color pencil. This is another one where I was searching for the different browns that a primary and secondary color could produce.

I believe this elf is happy that December is not that far off, but I am appalled at how rapidly the season will be upon us. It is just a waxed, downhill slide to Christmas once Labor Day has passed

This squiggle has an interesting story with it. I like to watch the softball games at Riverside Park during the summer. There is always talk among the guys about ‘throwing like a girl.”
One day they had lost all their softballs over the fence and called to the concession stand to send one over. The woman inside handed it to a girl standing at the counter and she calmly threw it to the pitcher. That is a very, very long distance. Go check it out for yourself. Complete silence filled the ball park and there was no talk of being ‘a girl’ for the rest of the night.
This squiggle is all marker with most of the colors blended with a light blue, light pink, and yellow marker.
