A mist fading reveals true forms
just as pencils use white paper
and primary colors as shapers
composing squiggles not yet born.

Scribbles dance a loose freestyle twist
until they’re firmly penned down
into squiggles with smiles or frowns
like forms revealed by fading mist.

As for blather there’s too much
to properly sieve and sort through
too much bite to thoughtfully chew
yet not enough to prove nonesuch.

my scribbles pretend they’re self made
