About us
We are two sets of sisters (two generations) who have an informal network of support in our crafting adventures. We wanted to start this blog to document our projects, showcase our interests and hopefully generate more views for our etsy stores. A few of us want to blow off some political steam, but I expect most of that will be edited out before it’s published. We are mainly interested in story and if politics raises it’s ugly head it will be within the framework of story. Some of us create stories with words and some of us with pictures. I don’t think it matters. I just hope we are successful at entertaining.
I am Lynne, the elder sister of Cheri (first generation) and there is Loryn the elder sister of Kristin (second generation). We expect to have all of us contributing to the blog and we’ll generally indicate whom is speaking by some manner which we haven’t worked out yet.
Our interests are wide and varied but we intend to concentrate on crafts and how we use the impulse to craft to make our lives richer. Speaking for myself there is nothing more fun than being able to build something I want for pennies rather than buy it for dollars. Also there is the extreme satisfaction of creating something beautiful to others as well as to ourselves. Everyone needs feedback to hone their skills and to keep their creative juices flowing. This blog should help us focus on what we want to do, how we do it, and why we do it.Thank you to any who read our blog even if it’s just us sisters.

Hi ladies, I just nominated you for a Sunshine Award. I like the sunny nature of your cartoons and their constant positive outlook. To read the award write up, please go to http://ourprocess.wordpress.com/2012/06/03/the-sunshine-award/
Thank you so much for the nomination. Link always makes me smile, even when I am drawing him. Every day is a challenge to see what he will be doing next. What a cat!
What a cat!!! I love your drawings. Please, keep it up.
I wanted to let you know I nominated you for a “Liebster Blog Award”. It’s mainly an opportunity to network with other bloggers that may not have seen your blog and put forward blogs that you like and find new blogs to enjoy. It does take some time and I completely understand if you decide you don’t want to do this. But I enjoy your blog and think others will, too. If you decide to do this, here is a shortlink http://shoefulofdrool.com/. I look forward to seeing you!
